Unique Challenges Call for Unique Solutions
Food insecurity is a global problem that requires local solutions. Bevier Café wants to make sure that everybody eats. The new Everybody Eats program in Bevier Café will continue teaching food service operations management to FSHN 340 students while serving delicious homemade meals to take real action toward fighting on-campus food insecurity.
Bevier Café will serve the same delicious menu, but with four distinct payment options:
- Pay the suggested price (menu price)
- Pay more (suggested price + a little extra)
- Pay it forward (buy a meal for someone else)
If you are in need of a meal, use one of the tokens from the jar at the entrance of the Café. Order your lunch, give the token to a cashier, and we’ll take care of the rest. These tokens are a gift to you from other generous Café patrons who want to help.
Once you get back on your feet “pay it forward“! Buy tokens to help out someone else or make a donation at the register to help to fight food insecurity. It is through your generosity and kindness that “Everybody Eats” at Bevier Café!
Open 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Monday – Friday when classes are in session.
Make a donation to buy someone else a meal!
